this is a beautiful post, ralph, and a befitting memorial.

Americo DeMarco

Ralph I want to thank you for sharing your feeling with me about how you felt back then. I too felt very bad about his sudden death. John was my favorite singer of the band. Paul sang sweet songs . John sang songs about what was wrong with the world. He let us see thing that we felt but couldn't put the right words to . He did it in song.
I hope you and you sisters and mother have a merry Christmas and a Happy new Year Your Uncle Meco

a few daysz agoo my band class started playing a few of the beatles songs. at first ii thought they were corny. and i didnt wanna play wack songsz like yesterday and imagine. but my teacher told me to look up the beatles and see what kind of artists they were. he told me i would feel diffrent after ii loooked them up. so i did. i found out that the beatles were a very talented band. and& that they were all for peace and lovee. In todays world there is no such thing as peace in love. but i wish there were. i wish i could be in manhattan with out being scared of 9.11! Or i could let one of my family members go into the army with out being scared the the stupid war in iraq could kill them. my mom still rememebers to this day what happened the day john lennon got shot. So im proud to be able to play the beatles songs. and we could use a little insperation from their music.i just wish taht gun-man would have been more inspired.
"all where asking for is to give peace a chance"-the beatles.

im doing a report on his song "imagine" and i think that the song is very emotional and has a good moral to it. that story is really sad though...
